David Hodges brings nearly three decades of experience leading complex capital projects from early planning through final delivery. As Chief Operating Officer of LP Energy Services Group, he is responsible for operational execution, field performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

David spent 17 years with Chevron, where he held leadership roles across major international developments in Kazakhstan, Nigeria, and Angola. During his tenure, he supported and managed multi-billion-dollar projects, including the $60 billion Future Growth Project in Tengiz, Kazakhstan, and the $13 billion Escravos Gas-to-Liquids project in Nigeria. His responsibilities spanned commissioning, turnaround strategy, reliability improvement, shutdown management, maintenance optimization, and large-scale workforce leadership.

Beginning his career in the field as an instrumentation and electrical technician, David advanced through supervisory and advisory roles before leading large multinational teams responsible for complex commissioning and operational delivery efforts. His experience managing safety-critical environments and coordinating cross-functional teams across continents has shaped a leadership approach grounded in accountability, discipline, and respect for the people doing the work.

Before joining LP Energy Services Group in July 2025, David served in senior operational leadership roles in Houston, Texas, further strengthening his expertise in project execution and capital program management.

As COO, David bridges strategy and field execution – ensuring that LPESG projects are not only well planned but flawlessly delivered.
